DOL Says "No" (again) to Individual Medical Policy Premium Reimbursement
On November 6, 2014, the DOL issued new guidance reaffirming the previous guidance by the IRSDOL and HHS regarding Premium Reimbursement Plans. DKYC has been contacted often over the past two years about the marketing or adopting a benefit plan that reimburses employees the cost of individual medical insurance either on or off the Federal and State Marketplace Exchanges.
